Korean Netflix Drama 'The Glory' starring Song Hye Kyo has been popular not only in Korea but also abroad since the beginning of its release.

According to the announcement by Flixpatrol, a global OTT platform viewing ranking aggregation site, on Feb. 2, the new drama "The Glory" (screenplay by Kim Eun-sook/directed by Ahn Gil-ho) on the entertainment streaming service Netflix ranked fifth in the "World's Top 10 TV Shows Today."

After its release on December 30, it also entered the domestic charts at No. 2 and reached No. 1 two days later. It ranks first in South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan. It also entered the U.S. charts at No. 9 on the first day and rose to No. 6.

As more countries release "The Glory," the ranking is expected to rise even more in the future.

"The Glory" is the story of a woman whose soul was shattered by violence as a child, and who is caught in a whirlpool of revenge that she has meticulously prepared for her entire life.

Writer Kim Eun-sook, a top hitmaker who caused a syndrome several times with "Goblin," "Mr. Sunshine," and "Secret Garden," and director Ahn Gil-ho, who made "The Secret Forest" and "Watcher," teamed up. The protagonist, Song Hye-kyo, broke down into the role of Dong-eun and introduced a new character with a cold face.
